Irish American Power 250 to honor the leaders behind America's most valuable transatlantic partnership
The definitive list of the 250 most influential Irish American leaders in business, politics and culture will be unveiled at a black-tie gala in Cipriani Wall Street, New York on 23 February 2027, marking the 250th anniversary of the United States.
NEW YORK, 1 July 2026. As America prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary this Independence Day, a new initiative launches to recognize the Irish American leaders shaping the nation today and the transatlantic partnership they help drive. The Irish American Power 250 is the definitive, editorially led list of the 250 most influential people of Irish heritage in American business, politics and culture. It is the first benchmark of its kind, created by the New York based business membership organization Conexus and timed to the United States' semi quincentennial.
From Wall Street to Capitol Hill, from Silicon Valley to the arts, Irish Americans have helped build the United States and continue to shape its future. The list profiles the established figures and the rising generation writing the next chapter of that story, and will reach a premium audience of more than 3 million readers through the project's media partners.
The launch comes at a moment when the Ireland–US economic relationship has rarely been more important. The two countries now share a two-way relationship valued at more than $1 trillion. Irish companies are among the largest sources of foreign investment into the United States and employ more than 200,000 people across the country, while US firms have made Ireland their gateway to Europe, a role thrown into sharper relief this week as Ireland assumes the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. In a shifting global trade environment, the people behind that partnership matter more than ever.
The 250 honorees will be celebrated at a black-tie Gala Dinner and Awards on Tuesday 23 February 2027 in Cipriani Wall Street, New York, alongside five Lifetime Achievement and Outstanding Contribution Award recipients recognized for landmark contributions across business, public life and culture.

The Irish American Power 250 is the flagship initiative of the Conexus Transatlantic Corridor, a portfolio of platforms connecting business and political leaders across the United States and internationally.
